Klawock, Prince of Wales Island

Klawock is a community north of Craig, with many Haida residents and Haida totem poles on a hill by the school, restored or recarved from traditional designs.

Klawock also boasts Dave's Diner,
a local eatery whose kitchen is
in a bus parked next to the diner...
Alaskan to the core.

We had a fine lunch here on the way
to the ferry Prince of Wales
where we bid goodbye to Eric & Sandy.
