Lucy knew a manager of a zinc mine in Jianshui; he showed us his town, and took us to dinner with his family, including his 91 year old grand-mother whose feet had been bound (standing in navy suit).

Lucille & Bob wanted to have some clothes made by the tailor who had made suits for Lucy's sister Catharine 6 months ago. They went to the address, only to find it demolished, with a sign on a tree that all had moved to new quarters in the first 3 floors of a new high-rise apartment. New buildings everywhere!
