Around Orcas Island

We took a day trip by ferry to Orcas Island in a convoy of packed cars, then drove to Moran State Park in the eastern half of the "saddlebag". We climbed the tower atop Constitution Mountain to catch a glimpse of the other islands, picnicked by a lake, hiked some more and ate an early supper on Orcas before catching a ferry back to Lopez Island.
