Kunming's May 1 Parade
Each country in Southeast Asia had a float festooned
with flowers and dancers in native costumes behind it.
As the dancers found their floats, majorettes
with country signs chatted with each other.
The
dancers entertained the crowds while waiting for the parade to start.
People
lined the route six and seven deep;
some kids took the the high road, some the low one.
