Liz McLoughlin and
her sister's two younger offspring,
Catharine and Robert Hornby,
have crossed the United States.

  
 
In 1999,
they covered the US uniquely,
from the Atlantic to Chicago,
then from the Pacific to Chicago.
 
       
 

In 2003,
with Tom Hall, Liz's husband,
they went from San Francisco
to the Mexican border.
